Bridging the G.A.P is on a mission to accurately communicate the heart of God, by using hiphop as the tool to Bridge the G.A.P. ("Gospel And Poetry") of our Pop Culture and God the Father by way of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to Manifest Jesus Christ to all with ear. Bridging the G.A.P is a Christian Hip-Hop Group who hails from the islands of Hawaii. This interesting band of believers was molded together by divine destiny in the latter part of 2008 when (Transformed, Zealous, and Meek) embraced the idea of reaching outside the walls of the church to share Jesus Christ through music. They officially launched onto the scene in Jan 2010 with their 1st national release “The Great Commission.” The album had reached national attention when the song “Captured” was selected for (Holy Cultures) Compilation “The Drop CD” and “Check am I Afresh” was selected to be on DaSouth’s Compilation Cd “Under the Radar Vol. 2”. Maturity birthed from this group from opportunities on the platform that God had spread out when they opened a show for Grammy Nominated Artist such as LECRAE, Parachute Band and worked with National CHH Artist such as Shai Linne, Flame, Sound Doctrine and J'son at the Entrusted with the Gospel Conference . After catching much attention with their high energy, bold preaching, and different ethnic backgrounds (Caucasian, African-American/Pilipino, Samoan) what truly caught the nation by surprise this year was the (Hawaiian Femcee) addition to the rap group (Diligent) who was previously featured on the song “We Wont Back Down”. While hitting the streets and Churches of Hawaii on their (WWBD Hawaii Tour 2011) This Past Year, Bridging the GAP has teamed up with one of the top DJ's in the Pacific (DeeJay 3aliti) and Krump Dance Click's (614 Crew) to pursue the mission of sharing the Gospel. With a full gambit of talent and new sounds, Bridging the G.A.P is set to nationally release their 2nd Studio Album “Reinstating Worship” coming this January 2012. This highly anticipated album is being produced by Transformed and R&B sensation Jason Mitchell of (J-Image Entertainment), and original music being composed and produced by (RaCharmMusic).
